"Homoeopathic Science Congress-2008" begins in Patna
Patna, Feb 02 (UNI) ''Incredible Homoeopathica-2008'', the two-day- long Homoeopathic Science Congress began here today with the participation of more than 300 doctors from around the world.
Inaugurating the congress, leading physician Dr S N Arya lauded the increasing popularity of the use of homoeopathy and said more and more people in the world were now opting for homoeopathic treatment because it did not have any side effects.
Describing Dr Bandeo Sahni, in whose memory the congress was being organised, as a great visionary, Dr Arya said Dr Sahni had dedicated his entire life to the service of the downtrodden and poor.
'' Dr Sahni was a pioneer and a renowned research scholar for the development of homoeopathic medicine. His was a mission to revolutionise homoeopathic system of medicine and a devotion towards humanity, '' he added.
Dr Frederik Schroyens of Belgium was given ''Dr B.Sahni memorial award-2008'', while Dr Arun Nilkanthrao Bhasme from Maharastra got the ''Architect of homoeopathy award-2008''.
A number of speakers and renowned homoeopathic doctors from around the world will present their papers and take part in interactive session during the two-day-long deliberation.
