Cold wave continues in Nashik
Nahik, Feb 2 (UNI) The cold wave continued in the city this week also as the temperatures dipped further.
The slide in the temperatures that started on January 19 is still continuing with the temperature dipping to 4.4 degrees Celsius, lowest in the State, on January 27.
On January 28, the minimum temperature recorded was 4.5 degrees Celsius. There was a little respite from the biting cold over the next two days with minimum temperatures at 8.2 degrees Celsius on January 29 and 11.5 degrees Celsius on January 30.
However, the temperature declined further with the minimum temperature recorded at 5.3 degrees Celsius on January 31 and 5.0 degrees Celsius on February one. Today the minimum temperature recorded was 6.7 degrees Celsius.
The day temperatures also fell during the week because of cold winds. This decline in temperatures has affected the mormal life of the people in the city and its adjoining areas and has affected various businesses.
