Central Govt. shielding militancy in J
Jammu, Feb 2 (UNI) The Bhartiya Janata Party today accused the Central Government of shielding militancy in Jammu and Kashmir by rewarding the families of slain militants.
Addressing a press conference here, the state president BJP, Ashok Khajuria alleged that the Congress led government in the Centre was supporting the kith and kin of slain militants by announcing financial packages for them under various schemes.
''No attention is being paid to unemployed youths of the state. No citizenship right and compensation has been announced for the POK refugees but the families of the slain militants are being rehabilitated by the government,'' Mr Khajuria said adding ruling government both at Centre and in State level, were working on pro-militancy and pro-Pakistan agendas.
''The BJP wants financial packages not for the surrendered or slain militants and their dependants but special employment package for the unemployed engineers, agriculture technocrats, post graduates should be announced '' the BJP Chief said.
The party would not allow the Congress-led governments to implement the dangerous Working Group recommendations, he asserted.
