According to estimates released by Central Statistical Organization, improved growth in GDP has been achieved due to all-around improvement in mining, manufacturing and services sectors, which helped offset the slower growth in agriculture. While the agriculture sector grew by 3.8%, down from 6.1% in FY06, the manufacturing sector recorded a 12% growth.
