CPI(ML) Women wing Orissa Chief arrested
Bhubaneswar, Feb 01 (UNI) The Jajpur police today arrested CPI (ML) Women Wing Chief in Orissa Nanika Jamada soon after her discharge from a Private Hospital here where she was treated for cerebral malaria.
The police yesterday arrested CPI(ML) Janashakti leader in Orissa Anna Reddy and two others from the Hospital who have been attending Nanika in the hospital.
They were later produced before a local court in Jajpur which sent them to jail custody. Police claimed that Anna Reddy and two of his associates were involved in several crimes in Jajpur, Dhenkanal and Keonjhar district.
These three CPI (ML) activists were also involved in the murder of three forest officials in Kankadahad in Dhenkanal district.
Police said Nanika Jamada arrested from the Hospital was mainly recruiting women cadres in to the CPI(ML) Nari Bahini which she had floated two years back.
