Bajaj Auto January sales slips 16%
New Delhi, Feb 1 (UNI) Country's second largest motorcycle maker Bajaj Auto Ltd today said its sales for January 2008 has declined 16.28 per cent to 1,92,193 units from 2,29,583 units a year ago.
The company, in a statement, said the sales of motorcycles fell 14.86 per cent to 1,66,492 units from 1,95,560 units, while sales of all two-wheelers also declined 15.16 per cent to 1,67,592 units from 1,97,553 units a year ago.
''Sales of motorised three-wheelers fell 23.19 per cent to 24,601 units from 32,030 units a year earlier.
The company said its exports have, however, rose 9.34 per cent to 43,533 units from 39,812 units.
