Sail-Nehru Champion Colleges Hockey Tournament from February 8-15

New Delhi, Jan 31 (UNI) Defending Champions DAV College, Jalandhar and last year's runners-up Jawaharlal P G College, Bhopal, will be among the 12 teams which will vie for honours at the 15th Sail-Nehru Champion Colleges Hockey Tournament to be held here from February 8-15.

The semi-finalists of last year, four Champion Colleges of Universities securing the first position in their respective Inter-University Zonal tournaments and four college teams selected on the basis of their track record will take part.

The 12-team tournament will carry a cash prize of Rs 2,28,000 which will be distributed among the winning teams.

The event is being jointly organised by the Association of Indian Universities and the Jawaharlal Nehru Hockey Tournament Soceity.
