Jain
and
issuance
of
show-cause
notice
to
Dr
Alok
Shrivastava
for
his
alleged
negligence
in
treating
patients

said.
The Minister ordered action against the doctors after he received complaints from patients during a visit to the city's Victoria Hospital designated as district hospital yesterday.
Dr Shrivastava was issued notice for going on leave without prior permission, the sources said.
During a visit to the orthopaedic ward, the Minister was told that a patient Mohanlal Kori was referred to the medical college hospital for an operation though the same facility was available at the Victoria hospital. The medical college hospital sent him back to the district hospital.
Mr Vishnoi inaugurated an emergency ward at the district hospital, the ources added..
