Shimla, Jan 31 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today said his government was committed to protect the interests of the technically qualified personnel.
The Chief Minister talking to the Resident Doctor's Association of the Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) here said that the medical, teaching, engineering and allied disciplines interest would be taken in to consideration during policy formation.
He further said, state government had taken the decision to carry the recruitment to professional cadres on 50 per cent batch wise and 50 per cent by way of direct recruitment.
He maintained that complete transparency would be maintained in carrying the recruitments to different positions so that the right persons were selected for the right positions.
''Health infrastructure would be strengthened and interests of the medical professionals safeguarded with a view to create best working environment in the health institutions, so that quality health services were delivered to the people,'' he added.
