Gujarati community in N Jersey to celebrate 'Vijay Utsav tomorrow
Rajkot, Jan 31 (UNI) Indian-Americans and the Gujarati community in eastern US will celebrate in New Jersey, US, tomorrow 'Vijay Utsav' to mark the thumping victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the recently held Gujarat Assembly elections.
Mr Vithalbhai Dhaduk, the main sponsor of the event, said in a press statement issued form the US that Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will interact live with the people on the occasion by video conference.
The celebrations will be held in Royal Albert Palace of New Jersery, the statement added.
The entire event will be broadcast live worldwide through Dish TV.
Dr Dhaduk said the Chief Minister will come live to the Royal Albert Palace from Gandhinagar via through a video conference.
Dr Dhaduk said tremendous responses generated in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and Surrenders states of eastern US for the much-talked programme.
Event Chairman and coordinator of BJP Suresh Jani said during the programme, 'Modimix' and 'PENDA', food items, will be distributed free to all people by Arvind Patel of Rajbhog Foods to show his affection towards Mr Modi.
A special souvenir 'Jitega Gujrat', prepared for the occasion, will also be released during the programme, the statement said.
The hall, where the function was to be organised, was fully booked, all passes had been sold out and people were requested to see the programme live, Dr Dhaduk said.
