Davanagere, Jan 31 (UNI) The terror suspects Raziuddin alias Mohammad Ghouse and Asadulla Abubakar, arrested at Honnali in this district early this month, will be subjected to brain mapping by the Karnataka police shortly.
Police sources said the former, suspected to have terror links, had revealed some vital information about his antecedents, especially about his visit to Pakistan.
The duo would be subjected to brain mapping and if needed narco tests would also be done on them in Bangalore, sources said.
Meanwhile a meeting of senior officials would be held here tomorrow to discuss the details of the information they had revealed so far.
Both the Central Crime Branch from Bangalore and the Hyderabad police, who are camping here for questioning Ghouse, would be seeking the custody of the youth from Hyderabad and are likely to move body warrants when he would be produced before the court on February two when the police custody period ends, sources said.
Bangalore Additional Commissioner of Police Gopal Hosur had also questioned Ghouse for two days yesterday and today and left for the state capital. However, he was tight lipped when asked about the details.
Goa police were likely to arrive in the town in a day or two to question the arrested as he was caught with a two-wheeler stolen from that state.
A six-member investigation team from Gujarat had also questioned him yesterday for his possible links in the killing of former Gujarat home Minister Haren Pandya.
In Hubli Police arrested Mohammad Asif, a final year MBBS student for allegedly having links with two terror suspects.
Commissioner of Police, Narayan Nadamani said the youth, who was under 'observation' for the past one week, was arrested while he was moving on a two wheeler near air port.
