APHRC appoints official to make an inquiry into Ayesha's murder case
Hyderabad, Jan 31 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Human Rights Commission (APHRC) Chairman Justice B Subhashan Reddy today appointed an official to inquire into the sensational murder case of Ayesha Meera, a B Pharm student, in Vijayawada last month.
Based on the complaint lodged with the APHRC by the parents of Ms Ayesha, the APHRC Chairman directed the Registrar General Vittal Rao Patil to conduct an inquiry into the murder case from tomorrow.
The official would conduct an enquiry into the murder case at Roads and Building (R and B) guest house in Vijayawada from tomorrow morning. Justice Reddy also directed the official to submit the report by February four.
The parents of Ms Ayesha, who was found murdered in the bath room in the hostel under suspicious circumstances, urged the APHRC direct the Government to arrest the accused immediately.
They alleged that the police were not taking action against the culprits.
