400 riders to vie for top honour in Hill Climb racing championship

Mysore, Jan 31 (UNI) More then 400 riders of both two and four wheelers from all over the State can be seen in action vying for top honour in the Hill Climb Racing Championships at Chamundi Hills here from February Two.

Speaking to newsmen here, Pro Sports Director Sujeeth Kumar said that the event was organised after a gap of more then eight years.

The event was nothing less then a national championships as national champions including Lohith Urs of Mysore (Car racing champion), Abhijeet, Arjun Rao, Shankar Joshi and others from across the nation are participating in the event.

The 2.8 km long race would commence from mid hill of the Chamundi hills connecting from Utthanahalli on Nanjangud road.

The winner of the event would be honoured with the J K Tyres King of the Hills 2008 award.

Mr Kumar, who himself a Ralliest with nearly two decades of experiences in motorsports, has taken up management and has associated himself with the Federation of Motorsports Clubs of India and Motorsports Association of India.
