Tata Chemicals Q3 net increases to Rs 125.48 cr

New Delhi, Jan 30: Tata Chemicals Ltd today said it has registered a 7.45 per cent jump in its net profit at Rs 125.48 crore for the quarter ended December 2007, as compared to Rs 116.77 crore over the same quarter previous year. Total income has decreased 6.23 per cent to Rs 1236.52 crore for the quarter ended December 2007 from Rs 1318.81 crore during the corresponding period last year.

The company said in a statement that its consolidated net profit slipped 41.55 per cent at Rs 91.09 crore for the quarter ended December 2007, against Rs 155.85 crore over the same period last fiscal.

Its consolidated total income has decreased from Rs 1793.70 crore for the quarter ended December 2006 to Rs 1712.67 crore for the quarter ended December 2007, registering a 4.51 per cent fall.
