Jamui, Jan 30 (UNI) The Bihar government will set up a new police outpost at Bamdah market under South Chandramandi police station in view of the increased Maoist attacks in the district, police said here today.
Police Superintendent Vinay Kumar said the spot for the outpost had been selected after the ultra's attack on January 28 in Bamdah, killing two people.
Mr Kumar hoped the police personnel deployed at the new outpost would tackle the situation and curb the menace.
