Motif organises sixth charity walk on February

Ahmedabad, Jan 30 (UNI) Motif, one of the leading BPO companies in India has organised the sixth Annual Motif Charity Walk-2008 in the city on February three for encouraging a strong sense of social awareness.

Briefing reporters here this evening, Apurva Desai, Business Development Manager of Motif India said that Motif's Annual Charity Walk brings the community together to participate for a noble cause.

He said that we are organsing the walk with the active sponsorship from many leading companies since the year 2003. The funds collected on this occassion will be donated to NGOs for the benefit of under privileged children of Gujarat.

This year the charities identified to become the beneficiaries of the raised funds are two NGOs of Ahmedabad --Manav Sadhna and Pratham-- both of them working for the education of under privileged children.

As many as three thousand persons will join the Sixth annual Motif Charity Walk consists of 5 km of walk and 8 km run starts from the ATIRA main building at 0700 hrs on February 3 in the university area which will cumilate back in the same place, he said.

Since 2003 to 2007, we had raised Charity Funds over Rs 34 lakhs which had handed over to various NGOs selected time to time, Mr Desai said.
