In a press release here, JD(U) State Secretary General D Rajagopal said the Central Government should impose economic embargo on the Lankan regime.
He said the Centre should warn Sri Lankan President Mahendra Rajapakse to ensure that atrocities were stopped against the innocent Tamils and human rights were preserved by his Government.
Mr Rajagopal said if the killing continues unabatedly, the Centre should impress upon the United Nations Council and the International Forum to advise the Lankan Government to stop the dastardly attack on Tamils immediately.
