Action by foreign forces will be enemy act: Pak
Islamabad, Jan 30: Pakistan today said any action on its territory by foreign forces would be considered as enemy act and will be resisted.
''It will be considered as enemy act,'' foreign office spokesman Muhammad Sadiq told a press briefing when his attention was drawn towards reports suggesting possible action by US-led military coalition in tribal regions to track down al-Qaeda and Taliban fuigitives. The statement came a day after 12 people were killed in a missile strike on a house in North Waziristan tribal region bordering Afghanistan.
Mr Sadiq said there are no American troops in Pakistan, adding Americans have publicly offered to send troops if needed by Pakistan but ''we have told them that we don't need foreign troops''.
