New Delhi, Jan 30 (UNI) Three BJP MPs were today deposed before the party disciplinary committee headed by former union minister Ram Naik.
The MPs who deposed before the committee were Soma Patel, Vallabh Kathiria and former union minister Kanshiram Rana.
Mr Patel and Mr Kathiria were suspended from the parliamentary party while Mr Rana was issued show cause notice for anti-party activities during the recently concluded Gujarat Assembly elections.
Former Gujarat chief minister Keshubhai Patel, however, did not appear before the panel but sources said he was in touch with the BJP president Rajnath Singh.
Meanwhile, Mr Patel and Mr Kathiria regretted the actions they had taken and expressed dissatisfaction over the circumstances that led to their rebellion against the party.
The errant MPs may be asked to submit written apologies, the sources said.
