Zee Entertainment net up at 2.92%

New Delhi, Jan 29 (UNI) Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd today said it has registered a nominal 2.92 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 81.68 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 79.36 crore for the corresponding period in the previous year.

The company's total income witnessed a hike of 24.01 per cent to Rs 305.61 crore for Q3 FY07 from Rs 246.42 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises, which was previously known as Zee Telefilms Limited (ZTL), got demerged into four companies in 2006.
