Chilly weather in Patna and its outskirts

Patna, Jan 29 (UNI) Patnaites today experienced chilly winter morning with the days maximum temperature so far being as low as 17 degrees Celsius.

Yesterday the maximum temparature was recorded at 20 degrees Celsius.

Bonfires were lit at street corners and people were seen trying to beat the biting cold by keeping themselves warm.

Forecasting partly cloudy sky with the possibility of light drizzle in some areas during the next 24 hours, local Met office here said that the day's minimum temperature was pegged at 8.6 degrees Celsius.

The relative humidity remained static between 80 and 75 per cent, the Met office informed.

Moreover, the Met officials had further predicted slight changes in the maximum and minimum temperature in the next 24 hours.
