Chennai, Jan 28 (UNI) The city-based Zylog Systems Limited, a leading solutions based software service provider, today announced that it has registered a turnover of Rs 159.89 crore for the quarter ended December 31 2007, an increase of 24.3% compared to the turnover of Rs 128.64 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
The Net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 was Rs 23.44 crore, an increase of 36.2 per cent as compared to a net profit of Rs 17.21 crore for the corresponding period last year, a company release here said.
For the nine months ended December 31 2007, the revenue from operations was Rs 443.87 crore, up 37.32 per cent Y-o-Y and Profit after taxes for this period stood at Rs 63.88 crore, up 49.47 per cent.
"The EBIDTA margins have also seen an improvement at 18.85 per cent for the nine months up from 17.13 per cent for March 31 2007.
This was mainly on account of our ability to increase the billing rates by around 5.68 per cent for this period. We have also not been greatly affected by the rupee appreciation due to a combination of natural hedging and the US Dollar working capital facility that we have with our bankers", the release added Company Managing Director&COO Ramanujam Sesharathnam quoted as saying.
