Woman killed, 30 injured in bus mishap

Jaunpur, Jan 28: A woman was killed and 30 others grievously injured when a bus carying them fell into a deep gorge in Chandrawak area here this morning.

The incident occurred at Varanasi-Azamgarh road, when the bus lost control over the wheels and fell into a 15 feet deep gorge, police said.

Dhanavati of Ghazipur succumbed on the spot, whereas the injured were admitted to nearby medical centres.

Body of the deceased had been sent for post mortem.
