Sr BJP leaders to campaign in Northeast
Agartala, Jan 28 (UNI) The BJP today announced that it would fight the elections with full force in all three poll-bound states of Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland.
Referring to the three-day national executive meeting in Delhi, BJP election In-charge of NE and former aviation minister Rajib Pratap Rudy told UNI over phone that the Leftists in power had failed to fulfilled the aspiration of the people and now they wanted the end of Left Front rigime in Tripura.
He alleged that the law-and-order machinery was totally collapsed while the government was itself involved in financial scams and party had lost its unified command, resulting division among the party constituents as well as craze for power.
In Nagaland, where Democratic Alliance of Nagaland was in power of which BJP, a constituent, was wrongly removed before completion of its tenure, Mr Rudy said and added that the party hoped the people would give a fitting reply in the elections.
He held Congress party responsible for all the problems plaguing the northeast.
He said senior BJP leaders would campaign for the party and allince partners.
