Ambala, Jan 28 (UNI) The Haryana police today recovered bodies of three workers from the premises of HMM Coach Factory at Mandaur, near here.
The dead persons were identified as Tarsem, an electrician at the factory and two security guards, Surinder of Sarangpur village and Dilbagh of Baldevnagar. They were on night duty and their bodies bearing injury marks were found in a room inside the factory premises. All the three were in the age group of 40-45 years.
The bodies were handed over tothe relatives aftera post mortem.
Preliminary inquiries by the police revealed that the three had probably suffocated to death as they had shut the room after lighting a coal oven to keep themselves warm.
However, the relatives of the three victims have contested the claim of the police raising questions about the injury marks on all the bodies.
The police have registered a case and are waiting for the post mortem report to pin point the cause of death.
