Crude throughput production goes up by 1.9 per cent
New Delhi, Jan 28 (UNI)The country's crude throughput by refineries increased by 1.9 per cent at 13.05 million metric tonnes going beyond the target of 12.82 mmt set for December 2007, official data today said.
The crude throughput of IOC (Guwahati, Koyali, Haldia, Mathura and Panipat),BPCL(Mumbai and Kochi), HPCL(Mumbai and Visakh), MRPL (Mangalore)and RPL(Jamnagar) refineries have exceeded their planned target during the month under review. In case of IOC(Digboi), NRL (Numaligarh)and ONGC (Tatipaka), crude throughput was close to the target.
While crude oil production went down by 4.6 per cent off the set target at 2.88 mmt against a planned target of 3.02 per cent.
