Surajkund Designs Galleries will house top fashion designers
Chandigarh, Jan 27 (UNI) The Surajkund Design Galleries is Haryana Tourism's plan to make Surajkund a hub of dynamic activities and festivities all the year round.
The Designs Galleries is scheduled to be inagurated by Tourism Minister Kiran Chaudhary at Surajkund on January 31.
Haryana Tourism has its marked presence already at the historical Surajkund venue with its prestigious platinum property, Hotel Rajhans besides Sunbird Resort and Hermitage Huts.
The Surajkund Design Galleries hosts fifteen permanent stand alone stores, appropriately set amidst nature's munificence.
It will house the works of designers like A Balasubramaniam, Anupama Singh, Bharti Bhalla, Chandrashekhar Bheda, Dibyendu Mukherjee, Mahesh Borse, Manish Iyar, Mukul Goyal,Promil Pande, Ranjan S G, Ritu Agnihotri, Ritu Beri, S M Kulkarni and Vishal Kapur, all of whom specialize in different mediums of design.
The Surajkund Design Galleries is an initiative to promote traditional and contemporary Indian design and designers, while also helping economically weak sections of craft artisans by optimal employment of their talent and expertise.
