Decision over extending support to Koda govt after bypoll: Maken
Koderma, Jan 27 (UNI) Congress Working Committee (CWC) member and in-charge of party affairs in Jharkhand Ajay Maken today reiterated that the final decision on withdrawing the party's support to the UPA-backed Madhu Koda government would be taken after February 4 by-election to the Simaria Assembly seat.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Maken who was on way to Simaria, alleged that the state government had failed to fulfil the people's expectations in its about 15-month long tenure.
''Any decision regarding extending support to the Koda government will be taken after February 4 by-election to the Simaria Assembly seat,'' Mr Maken added.
He said the party had already given a 60-day ultimatum to Mr Koda ''either to perform or perish'' which ended on January 15 but the government was yet to show its progress.
