Mumbaikars celebrate Republic Day with enthusiasm
Mumbai, Jan 26 (UNI) Mumbai Mayor Shubha Raul today hoisted the National flag at the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation headquarters on the occasion of the 59th Republic Day.
Civic chief Jairaj Pathak and Additional Municipal Commissioners along with other civic staff were present on the occasion.
Mumbaikars, meanwhile, celebrated the Republic Day with much enthusiasm and the national flag was hoisted in housing societies and sports competitions for children held.
The Railways also played patriotic songs on their announcement systems.
