Indian dacoits kill Nepali students
Kathmandu, Jan 26 (UNI) An armed gang of Indian dacoits killed two students in eastern Nepal, the local media reported.
''Yogendra Koirala and Mukunda Dahal were killed while retaliating against armed Indian dacoits at around 2030 hrs (local time) last evening at Itatari in Sunsari district,'' Kantipur said.
The villagers, however, managed to take hold of three dacoits, including Salim Miya and Samsher Miya.
The locals thrashed them and later handed them over to the police. The arrested dacoits are also undergoing treatment in Dharan.
Koirala and Dahal were attacked with lethal weapons when they and the locals tried to retaliate against the dacoits robbing Dev Raj Koirala's house at Patherhuti.
