BHEL bags $625 million contract

24th
received
a
contract
from
Tamil
Nadu
Electricity
Board
or
TNEB
for
a
600
MW
thermal
power
unit
valued
at
24.75
billion
rupees
or
$625
million.
According to a statement issued by the company, the state-run company will set up the thermal power-generating unit at the North Chennai Thermal Power Station on an engineering, procurement and construction or EPC basis.
