Security tightened in J'khand in wake of R-Day
Ranchi, Jan 25 (UNI) Security has been tightened in the state capital with special vigil on railway properties in Jharkhand in the wake of Republic Day celebrations tomorrow.
Police said the Superintendents of Police of the 24 districts had been directed to keep extra vigil in the sensitive areas.
''Emphasis over security of the railways has been laid as it had always been a soft target for miscreants,'' sources said.
Besides, the jawans from the Jharkhand Armed Police (JAP) had been deputed at various places in the state capital to avert any untoward incident.
Governor Syed Sibtey Razi would unfurl the national flag at the Morhabadi grounds here. Speaker Alamgir Alam would also hoist the national flag.
