Gujarat shivering under blistering cold
Ahmedabad, Jan 25 (UNI) Gujarat continued to reel under the worst cold wave in recent times, with Saurashtra and Kutch regions bearing the brunt of the weather condition.
The border town of Nalia recorded minimum temperature of 4.8 degrees.
Normal Life was thrown out of gear in Saurashtra and Kutch.
Rajkot recorded 8.3 degrees, Bhuj 9.1 degrees, Junagadh 9.5 and Amareli 8 degrees.
Ahmedabad and Vadodara, where winter is usually less chilly, this time recorded the lowest temperatures in many years, with the former recording 6.9 degrees and the latter 8 degrees celsius.
