Companies keen to invest in Bawal Growth Centre
Rewari, Jan 25 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today claimed that a large number of companies have evinced keen interest to invest Rs 5,000 crore to set up their units in Growth Centre at Bawal here.
The Chief Minister who was addressing a public meeting here after launching various development projects estimated at Rs 215 crore, reiterated his commitment to provide canal water supplies at the tail ends in Southern Haryana.
He said that there would be an additional generation of 5000 MW of electricity by 2010 to meet the shortage of power supply in the state.
Referring to the demands presented by local MLA and PWD and Irrigation Minister Capt Ajay Singh, Mr Hooda announced to open an ITI and construct municipality building at Dharuhera and accepted the demand for opening of a Government girls college in Rewar Mr Hooda also inaugurated a 25 MLD canal based water works at HSIIDC Growth Centre in industrial area at Bawal to supply the good quality of water and also to meet out the water requirement of entrepreneurs of Bawal.
