New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) After making their presence in Western India, Adlabs Cinemas, part of Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, is now all set to establish its presence in the National Capital Territory of Delhi with opening of a new five screen multiplex in Noida.
Equipped with five world class widescreen viewing screens and the latest in sound projection technology, the multiplex opened at India's largest mall, the Great India Place in Noida, with the screening of latest Bollywood films like 'Sunday', 'Taare Zameen Par' , 'Halla Bol'and Hollywood films 'National Treasure' and 'Golden Compass'.
The multiplex has a total seating capacity of 1220 , exceptional food and beverage offerings, crystal-clear DTS sound, superior Xenon projection systems and plush seats. A new and unique innovation will be the DJ system in the lobby which will play songs on request.
It will also feature the exclusive Ebony Lounge which is only featured in signature Adlabs' cinemas. It features a luxurious 94-seat screen with fully reclinable seats, the best possible sound (provided by a standalone Bose Pipe Music system) and an attached lounge which offers an exclusive menu served by personalised and attentive staff as part of the 'Silver Service'.
Speaking at the launch , the COO, Adlab Cinemas Tushar Dhingra, said,''It's great to be the only cinema in India's largest mall where the biggest brands of India and the world also have a presence.
The Great India Place is a shopping mecca located in one of the fastest growing cities in India in terms of consumer spending and we see immense potential for this property.'' The opening of five-screen cinema in Noida is part of the endeavour by the company to strengthen its presence in Delhi NCR and Northern India.
The largest cinema chain in the country with 127 screens at present spread over 42 properties nationwide, Adlabs Cinemas will, in the next six months, see the rollout of at least 13 properties and 30 screens in North India.
