New Delhi, Jan 24 (UNI) The Northern Railways today announced that several trains would be partially cancelled/diverted in the morning of January 26, in view of the Republic Day parade.
''The rail traffic on Tilak Bridge will remain suspended from 1030 hrs to 1200 hrs in view of the parade. As a result, some trains will be regulated/partially cancelled/diverted '' a Northern Railway release said.
The trains to be regulated include 1078 Jhelum Express (Jammu Tawi-Pune) if required, 2626 Kerala Express (New Delhi-Trivandrum), 9265 Uttaranchal Express (Okha-Dehradun), 2204 Garib Rath Express (Amritsar-Saharsa) (all at New Delhi Railway Station), 2715 Sachkhand Express (Nanded-Amritsar) (at Okhla), 2627 Karnataka Express (Bangalore-New Delhi), 2925 Paschim Express (Bandra Terminus-Amritsar-Kalka) and GNP-3 Palwa-Ghaziabad EMU (all at Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station), 2443 Rajdhani Express (Hatia-New Delhi) and 2401 Magadh Express (Patna-New Delhi) (all at Sahibabad), 2313 Rajdhani Express (Sealdah-New Delhi) and 2056 Jan Shatabdi Express (Dehradun-New Delhi) and 2453 Rajdhani Express (Ranchi-New Delhi) (at Ghaziabad Railway station).
The trains to be diverted include SNP-2 Shakurbasti-New Delhi EMU (via Patel Nagar, Delhi Safdarjang, Hazrat Nizamuddin to Palwal), GNS-3 Ghaziabad-New Delhi-Shakurbasti EMU (via Sahibabad-Delhi Jn to Shakurbasti, 4646 Shalimar Express (Jammu Tawi-New Delhi) (via Sahibabad-Delhi Jn. to New Delhi).
The GD-1/GND-2 Ghaziabad-Delhi Jn-New Delhi-Ghaziabad EMU will remain cancelled between Delhi Jn., New Delhi and Sahibabad. It will depart from Delhi Jn. for Ghaziabad via Delhi Shahdara-Sahibabad UNI VD SY AS2115
