UP: Middle-aged couple among 5 killed

Shahjahanpur, Jan 24: At least five people, including a middle-aged couple, were killed and four others grievously injured in a jeep-tractor collision here late last night, police said today.

A jeep coming to the city collided with a tractor-trolley near Ramapur village on Jalalabad-Kanth road.

Three of the deceased travelling aboard the jeep were identified as driver Irfan, Surendra Srivastava (55) and his wife Tajwati (50).

Meanwhile, the injured had been admitted to hospital.
