Mumbai, Jan 24 (UNI) Aamir Khan has done a fantastic job in ''Taare Zameen Par'' but why should he be given an award when he refuses to accept one, TV host turned director Sajid Khan said Interacting with mediapersons here today, Sajid said, ''I bear no ill-will against Aamir but there are other directors also who have done deserving work during the year. I blame the jury for this.'' Actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan was adjudged the best director for 'Taare Zameen Par' along with Shimit Amin for 'Chak De India' in the Screen awards, which was recently held here.
To a question if his frank views on issues land him in trouble with film industry professionals, he said, ''There have never been any problems. When I host stage of television shows, I first make fun of myself and then criticise others. I am spontaneous when I host television or stage shows.'' Lauding his sister Farah Khan, who has directed 'Main Hoon Na' and 'Om Shanti Om', Sajid said ''Farah is perhaps the only woman filmmaker in Bollywood who has made commercial cinema. There are established women filmmakers who have always made women oriented, sensitive movies.'' UNI MR SR RL VC2120
