Jaipur, Jan 24 (UNI) Expelled BJP MLA and Gujjar leader Prahlad Gunjal has said Gujjar leaders would decide the future course of action on its demand for ST status at a meeting scheduled to be held in Bharatpur on January 27.

Addressing a press conference here today, the rebel Gujjar leader who had fought with Gujjar Arakshan Samiti convenor Col Kirori Singh Bainsla earlier said they have buried the hatchet and will fight for the community's demand unitedly.

Mr Gunjal also said they will move a writ petition in the High Court for allowing peaceful agitation in fulfilment of their demand in the backdrop of government crack down on the Gujjar leaders sabotaging their proposed Mahapadav (seige) on January 21.

He categorically stated that the Gujjar community will not settle for anything less than a recommendation to the Centre by the state government for inclusion of the Community in ST said the state governemnts proposal for a four to six per cent reservation for Gujjars under 'denotified tribe' and the special economic package would not satisfy them.

He said the Gujjar community was also assured of the support of Jats in Bharatpur district with BJP MP Vishwendra Singh coming out openly in support to their cause.
