No wedding 'yet' for French President and ladylove Bruni

Washington, Jan 23 : Former supermodel Carla Bruni has dismissed speculations that she had tied a knot in secret with French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

The 40-year-old Italian singer told a newspaper that they were "not yet married" but were planning to do so, reports Usmagazine.com.

Sarkozy had recently indicated at a news conference that he would marry Bruni and added that the media would probably find out about it after the event.

However, a regional daily L'Est Republicain had revealed that pair had wed in private.

Indian diplomats were concerned over Bruni accompanying the divorced Sarkozy as it would be challenging the traditional protocol.
