Vilasrao's son to enter wedlock on Feb 28

Latur, Jan 23: Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh's eldest son and his political heir Amit Deshmukh will soon be a married man.

Amit will exchange the vows with TV actress Aditi Pratap Ghorpade on February 28 in Mumbai. The wedding ceremony will be a family affair while a reception will be given the next day at the megapolis' Mahalaxmi Race Course.

At least 12000 guests were expected to attend the reception for which invitations would soon be sent. The Chief Minister is personally asking his guests to spare two days for the ceremony.

Besides, a host of tinsel town celebrities, the who's who of country's politics are expected to attend the marriage.

Talking to the sources here, Amit, who is also the chairman of Latur's Vikas Cooperative sugar factory, said ''I am happy that I will soon be a married man.'' When asked about his political role, Amit said ''Whatever role the party will assign me, I will try to fulfil it to the best of my ability.'' Aditi has acted in serials like 'Saat Phere', 'Maan', 'Dil se Dosti', 'Love Marriage', 'Hatim Tai' and 'Rishton ki Dor'.

The two got engaged in October.
