Mumbai, Jan 23 (UNI) Neo Sports Plus, the all sports channel which is part of the Neo Sports Broadcast stable, today announced an agreement with PGA Tour for broadcasting the US arm of the PGA Tour in the Indian subcontinent for the next two calendar years 2008 and 2009.
The live telecast of the PGA Tour on Neo Sports Plus will air on January 24, beginning with the Buick Invitational, a media release issued here today stated.
This season of the PGA Tour will have stalwarts like Tiger Woods, Daniel Chopra, Phil Mickelson and Vijay Singh among others who will be playing. The PGA Tour season is segregated into two parts - FedEx Cup, which includes the PGA tour regular season and the PGA Tour Playoffs for the FedExCup, followed by the PGA Tour Fall Series.
The PGA Tour Playoffs consist of the Barclays, Deutsche Bank Championship, and the BMW Championship, and is the final push to the FedExCup title which culminates at the Tour Championship presented by Coca-Cola.

In addition to winning the broadcast rights, Neo Sports Plus will present two shows every week produced by the PGA: The PGA Tour Highlights, a show which focuses on the highlights of the previous weeks PGA action and Inside PGA, which is a peek into the PGA events of the week ahead, the release added.
