Jet Airways launches Mumbai-Doha flight

Mumbai, Jan 23 (UNI) Private carrier Jet Airways launched its maiden flight between Mumbai and Doha here today.

The Airline, which is the first private carrier to fly in the Gulf skies from India, will run a direct daily flight between the two destinations.

Jet Airways is already operating daily direct flights on the Kochi-Kuwait-Kochi, Kochi-Bahrain-Kochi, Mumbai-Bahrain-Mumbai and Delhi-Kuwait-Delhi sectors.

The Airlines simultaneously announced the launch of a direct service betweeen southern Indian cities of Kozhikode-Muscat, Kozhikode-Doha and Kochi-Muscat.

Jet Airways flight 9W 552 (Mumbai-Doha) will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) here at 0720 hrs and arrive at Doha International Airport at 0825 hrs on every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

On Tuesdays and Saturdays, flight 9W 552 will depart from the metropolis at 0840 hrs and arrive at Doha at 0945 hrs.

The return flight 9W 551 (Doha-Mumbai) will depart from Doha at 2315 hrs and arrive in the city at 0515 hrs.
