Jayant Patil to inaugurate management conclave in Nagpur
Nagpur, Jan 23 (UNI) Maharashtra Minister for Finance Jayant Patil will inaugurate the two-day ''Central India Management Conclave'' here tomorrow.
Speaking to newsmen, Conclave Chairman Dr Amishi Arora said that the theme for the meet is ''Winning Strategies for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)''. The conclave is being co-hosted by the city-based National Academy of Defence Production (NADP), she said.
Malini Shankar, Development Commissioner in the Department of Industry of the Government of Maharashtra, would be the guest of honour at the inaugural function, while former Maharashtra minister Ranjit Deshmukh would preside.
The programme for the conclave will include sessions on innovation, financial strategies for SMEs, value addition and business development, Dr Arora said.
She said an open house on winning strategies for SMEs would also be held during the conclave. Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), MIDC Industries Association, Software Technology Park of India (STPI), Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC), Bank of Maharashtra and State Bank of India are the conclave associates, she added.
