INSCOL Academy ties up with Australian Univ for Nursing
Chandigarh, Jan 23 (UNI) INSCOL Academy here has announced a tie-up with University of New England, Armidale, Australia to enable registered Indian nursing students, holding nursing diplomas, to seek admissions for degree qualification in Australia.
Managing Director of INSCOL Academy Daljit Singh Gujral, while addressing a joint press conference with Lindsay Yates, Director, International Marketing and Pathways and Mary Therese Cruickshank, Associate Professor, University of New England, said that the strategic understanding would give a mega boost to prospects of Indian nurses to upgrade their qualification and employability in the global market.
Mr Daljit Gujral said that the exclusive tie-up with University of New England will facilitate our diploma holders to pursue coveted Bachelors of Nursing degree in Australia.
Ms Mary Therese Cruickshank, Head of Nursing, University of New England said that as part of the strategic tie-up, UNE will be offering a customized one year, full time, on campus degree program to add value to Indian nursing students' qualifications which are presently suited best only for the domestic market.
