Adelaide, Jan 23 (UNI) Adelaide could be the last Test for India's ageing stars in Australia including captain Anil Kumble and the seniors would like to finish the tour on a high note.

Kumble, 37, hopes to bid farewell to Australia on a high as will other seniors in the side, Sachin Tendulkar (34), Rahul Dravid (34), Sourav Ganguly (35) and VVS Laxman (33), who are all unlikely to make another trip Down Under.

''As a senior group we came in with the purpose of winning a series in Australia, we haven't been able to achieve that, but at least we can go back with our heads held high,'' Kumble said.

''Future Indian teams that come here will look at the performances from the past and I'm sure they'll do what we could not achieve here, so that's something I'm really proud of.'' But team India has a tough job at hand as the Aussies would be keen to regain their lost glory and Matthew Hayden's return in the side would boost the home side's confidence.

Australia is almost certain to change their one-dimensional bowling attack of the Perth Test by bringing in Brad Hogg in place of Shaun Tait who failed to live up to the hype created over his inclusion.

The Adelaide Oval pitch is likely to assist spinners and most likely India will play Harbhajan Singh. The axe will probably fall on opener Wasim Jaffer who has had a dismal tour till now with the pace-trio of R P Singh, Irfan Pathan and Ishant Sharma likely to retain their place in the squad.
