New Delhi, Jan 22 (UNI) Customs officials at the IGI airport today detained a Zimbabwean national and seized two kg heroin, worth Rs two crore in the international market, from her.
Officials said 26-year-old Belinda Mabheka was on her way to Harare via Adis Ababa by an Ethiopian Airlines flight.
The officials noticed her moving suspiciously and detained her at the Customs counter.
A thorough search of her luggage led to the recovery of two kg heroin. She had concealed the heroin in a specially made cavity at the bottom of her suitcase.
She has been detained under the provisions of the NDPS Act, 1985.
