2008.
''For the last nine months, we have already exceeded the last year turnover of Rs 1,292 crore. By March 08, we will acieve Rs 2,000 crore turnover,'' Tanishq vice-president (Marketting) V K Govindraj told reporters here. The jewellery division has a 50 per cent growth rate year on year, he added. In 1995, Tata diversified into jewellery under the brand Tanishq, the country's largest and fastest growing jewellery brand.
Tanishq has 75 boutiques in 55 cities across the country with a premium range of gold jewellery studded with diamonds or coloured gems and a wide range in 22 kt pure gold.
