Silver, Gold decline further on bearish advice

Mumbai, Jan 22: Both the precious metals declined further today with Silver sliding by Rs 320 per kg and Gold by Rs 135 per ten gm on weak global cues on lack of buying support at higher levels from retailers, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 20,150 (20,470) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 11,055 (11,190) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 11,105 (11,240).
