Unity led to win at Perth, would keep up the spirit: Harbhajan

By Staff

Melbourne, Jan 21 (UNI) Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh believes that it was the united stand of Team India at the time of crisis in Sydney which powered them in making a stunning win against Australia in the third Test at Perth.

''Obviously it was a big factor, because when something like that happens, everybody feels they have something to prove,'' Harbhajan was quoted as saying by 'The Age'.

''And I think the boys proved that in beating Australia,'' he said.

Team India at Sydney was hit hard by the poor umpiring, as well as the three-match ban, pending appeal on Harbhajan for allegedly making a racist remark on Andrew Symonds.

But after the Perth win, the Indian offie expressed that ''We are one unit. Whether we win or lose, we do it together.

We are a team that can beat Australia on any given day, and we will now look to continue that momentum into Adelaide.'' UNI XC CS AKJ VP1142
